About the survey

We are seeking your input to help understand the potential drivers, incentives and barriers for uptake and acceptance of engineered wood products (EWPs) across the building industry in New Zealand. This is a collaboration between BRANZ and MPI as part of the Mid-Rise Wood Construction Partnership.

EWPs include the full range of structural and non-structural building materials made from timber and timber fibre. This includes things like laminated veneer lumber (LVL), cross laminated timber (CLT), plywood, particleboard and other composite wood products. As part of a longitudinal survey series dating from 2019, we are collecting another round of evidence through this 2024 survey.

This survey will take about 10 minutes and will help identify where and how EWPs are being used across the New Zealand built environment, from acceptance and design through to supply and delivery of completed buildings. Your feedback will help determine what is needed to support current and increased use of EWPS in New Zealand homes and buildings.

By completing the survey and providing contact information, you’ll go into a draw to win one of three Prezzy cards valued at $300 each. Any information collected will be securely stored without any identifying individual responses. The survey will be open until 15 April 2024.
